Meet Bob O’Shea

Bob O'Shea is the Republican nominee for the State of Maryland, House of Delegates Seat for District 30A in the General Election on Tuesday, November 6th, 2018.

A native of New Castle, Pennsylvania, he grew up in the small tourist town of Canandaigua, New York. Bob first moved to Maryland in 1987 and has been living in Annapolis since 2000. Bob was fortunate to live in the Historic District near St Mary's for 5 years and then moved to the home his son and he now live in today on Granville Avenue in Murray Hill.

Maryland is a special place for Bob. He remembers visiting Annapolis for the first time in 1966 when his Uncle Tom Eubanks graduated from the Naval Academy. Bob still has fond memories of his brother Pat and him asking their father to honk the horn over and over in the Original Harbor Tunnel on that hot Maryland day.

Bob is raising his 9-year old son Trey, and like many of you he has a career outside the home. Their dog Gusto takes care of the house when Trey and Bob are gone!

For more than a decade, Bob and Trey have sponsored midshipmen from the Naval Academy and are very proud of Mike, Mollie, Lindsay, Caitlin and Adam for their service to our country.

For 35+ years he has advised and negotiated on behalf of manufacturing firms for defense, medical and government contracts throughout the the country. This has allowed Bob to establish a strong track record of bringing people together to identify new business ventures and opportunities and create partnerships between customers and suppliers that are leaders in their field. His straight-forward, results-oriented approach has earned him the reputation of a strong problem-solver with his business associates and clients.
